Dance Through The Storm

, , ,

“Through the storm I dance,

I dance for my king,

Although in the storm, I am nothing,

but a mist to the moonlight,

God covers me with a comfort and makes me beautiful.

When fear screams my name,

I still dance for my king,

When they trip me with my past,

I dance because He is my everything.

Although life may seem only a nightmare,

and all I want to do is scream,

I dance though the storm,

for He is my Elohim.”

Sometimes life seems hard and you’re holding on to your faith with only a thread.  But in the hardest times in life, it seems we need God the most.  And He will embrace you with His holy arms.  He’ll hold your hand through the darkest valley and he’ll never let go.  So don’t let go of Him.  Ask Him to overwhelm you with the peace that let’s you dance through the roughest storms.

You have power and authority through Jesus Christ, because He, who lives inside of you, has the most power.  Don’t let the storm control you but let God guide you through a dance.  He’ll make your dance beautiful, even in the ugliest storms.  Hold on to Him, not with a thread, but embrace Him with everything.  Give Him everything.  Become completely selfless before Him and He will honor that.  The more you give Him, the more He’ll give you.  Why not give Him everything?  All of your problems, baggage, brokenness.  He’ll transform them to where what was your test is now your testimony and what caused you misery is now your ministry.  Give Him everything.  Let Him set you completely free.

He will give you strength to fight through what you are fighting through.  But He’ll give you the peace that makes you say, “I don’t have to fight anymore.  I can just dance through it with God.”  Sometimes, we as Christians just need to dance through whatever we are going through.

Elohim (El-o-heem) – creator of Heaven and Earth.
