Many people throw around the phrase, “God loves you.”  So people have gotten use to it and just flow with it.  Like, “Yeah, I know.  Cool.”  But many people don’t quite understand His love.  …and that’s okay.  None of us can really comprehend His love in our little brains because it is so great.  I think some of the missed comprehension comes from us being so use to the love on earth.  Either sometimes you hear, “I love you” from that person and it means so much or when you hear, “I love you” from that person who says it more then “Hello“, it does not meet up to God’s love.  Not even close.  See, God is not of the earth, but basically everything is greater through Him.  His love?  It’s greater than anybody on earth’s love.  You can love like Him, but you can’t love as much as Him because it is too much.

Romans 8:37-39 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I love this verse because its really telling you how much He loves you.  His love stays the same, no matter what.  We can’t comprehend that because we as humans, our love grows stronger for a person, not quite the same the whole time.  Like in a married relationship or boyfriend/girlfriend, your love for each other grows stronger and deeper.  God’s love doesn’t grow or get smaller, but it’s the greatest love.  That eternal love, even before your born.

Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—

His unconditional love never leaves, even when you do something horrible… He still loves you!  What a great God!  No matter what you do, He still loves you.  That doesn’t mean He always likes what you do, but that’s the cool thing with grace, it covers it all.  Grace covers all the sin when you repent.  Why does God do that?  …because He loves you.  

1 Peter 5:6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

Can we just take a second and thank God for His unfailing love?  I know I’m not the only one who’s felt like you were stuck in life or stuck in a deep hole where nobody cared and nobody loved you.  I’m going to tell you right now, His love for you never failed and never will.  His care for you is so strong to where He wants you to succeed in His will, yet He let’s you have a choice (free will) in life because He doesn’t want to hold you down.  Although He loves you and is a jealous God to where He wants you all to Himself, He also knows we wouldn’t like being robots and doing exactly everything He wants and tells us to do and not having free will.

He gives us a choice in life.  His love is so strong for you that we can’t comprehend it.  We can’t even comprehend how powerful and great He is, because our brain is too small.  So just imagine how great the love He has for you.  If you ever just want to be soaked in that love, ask your Father.  That’s what He loves to do, overwhelm His children with His love.  He wants to show you how great His love is to where you can feel it.  He just wants you to ask.  So ask Him to overwhelm you with that unfailing love.
